Get Involved As A Volunteer
Rathkeale & District Credit Union exists for the benefits of its members. We rely a great deal on the services of our valued volunteers who commit tirelessly to the success and sustainability of our credit union. We are currently looking for volunteers to come on Board as Directors and also committee members.
If you become involved with RDCU you may develop both personally and professionally in our organisation. The benefits of becoming a credit union volunteer include:
- Education and training in the financial area
- Personal development – gaining new skills
- Work on developmental of the Credit Union
- Give something back to your community
- Volunteering is always a good addition to your CV
Rathkeale & District Credit Union encourages and supports the involvement of volunteers at all levels. As in any voluntary organisation the quality of service depends on the volunteers who run it, and the directors are constantly on the lookout for suitable candidates as Directors and also to help in the various committees.
Training is provided for anyone interested at no cost to the volunteer except for your time.
Rathkeale & District Credit Union are currently looking for volunteers. If you are interested or for more information, please ring our office – 069 64444 and ask for the Manager. The Board will draw up a panel of interested persons for both Directors and Committees.
Under the new legislation the credit union is now required to operate under the Central Bank Fitness and Probity Standards.
